After 4 or so megabytes had downloaded I stopped the download and exited uplay. In my case it was Tom Clancy's Wildlands. In the end, all I needed to do was to install uplay on my new PC and start the game download. If anyone can help me out with this it would be really appreciated. Is there a similar process which works for Uplay? I just copied the games folder and corresponding appmanifest.acf file from the common folder in the Steam apps folder to the other PC and verified the files. Steam had a backup option but I never used that as it takes up extra space on my hard drive. So I'd like to ask for some assistance please. I have used Steam until now so I'm unfamiliar with the process to copy games on Uplay from one PC to another. To avoid leaving it on I download on my laptop then copy over. The reason I don't just download them on my gaming PC is because my internet is very slow (2.4 mbps) and I'd have to leave my gaming PC on for a super long time and I'm not keen on doing that. I usually download large files/games on my laptop, copy them to my NAS drive and then install them on my gaming PC. I have a laptop and a gaming PC, both of which have Windows 10 installed. Rule 1 - Follow Reddiquette Rule 2 - Harassment & Witchhunting Rule 3 - Low Effort/Low Quality Rule 4 - Duplicates Bugs & Glitches Rule 5 - Self Promotion & Spam Rule 6 - Advertising, Selling etc.I'm seeking some advice regarding copying a game which has been installed on uplay over to a different computer. Keep it fun, keep it respectful and remember that in the end - it's just a game. The power to shape this community is in your hands.
